TWO men have been arrested for various offences – including drink driving and possession of Class A drugs – after leading police on a chase near Tidworth.
Wiltshire Police said a car was travelling at excessive speed yesterday (June 10) on the Range Road between Bulford and Tidworth when it failed to stop for officers.
The car then crashed into a member of the public, who sustained minor injury, before a stinger could be deployed by officers which was successful.
The car then came to a halt as it crashed into a van and then an unmarked police vehicle on the A338 near Tidworth cemetery.

Both occupants of the car were taken to hospital for treatment for minor injuries and a quantity of suspected class A drugs was subsequently found in the car.
The driver, a 30-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, drink driving, aggravated taking a vehicle without consent, driving while disqualified and possession with intent to supply class A drugs.
The front seat passenger, a 31-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of aggravated taking a vehicle without consent and possession with intent to supply class A drugs.
Both suspects are currently in police custody.
