RESIDENTS are being encouraged to talk to police after a man was stabbed to death in Salisbury.
Wiltshire Police has installed a mobile police station outside Spar in Gainsborough Close, after a man died after being stabbed in the area on Tuesday morning (August 22).
The station will be in place until after the Bank Holiday.
It will be manned by the Community Policing Team and neighbourhood officers between 10am and 11am, and from 2pm to 3pm, each day.

“Officers will also conduct high visibility patrols throughout this period, please feel free to talk with us,” a spokesperson said.
It comes after a man in his 20s was stabbed to death in Gainsborough Close at around 11.55am on Tuesday.
Maurice Jones, 25, has since been charged with murder.
