Margaret, a resident at Wilton Place Care Home, said: “I love it when Henry visits; he reminds me of my dog Max. He was a wire-haired fox terrier. I had when I was a little girl.”
Antoinette, the home manager, encourages visitors to bring their furry friends into the home, with fresh water and dog treats always available at the reception area.
She said: “We get so excited when we have dogs come in to the home the staff love to gather around the reception area to give them a fuss.”
