SALISBURY traders moved from their Market Place pitches during the Covid-19 pandemic are returning tomorrow.
On Tuesday (June 18), our market traders who are currently found on Guildhall Square are moving back onto the Market Place.
They were originally moved to comply with social distancing regulations.
“A new row is being created, and you will be able to find them just outside Costa, so please do pay them a visit in their new location,” a Salisbury City Council spokesperson said.
Salisbury Charter Market is open every Tuesday from 8.30am until 3pm and between 8.30am and 4pm on Saturdays, at Market Place.
“The historical market has run since 1227 and comprises of approximately 70 stalls of various sizes,” the spokesperson added.
“The market offers a wide range of goods including food, clothes, shoes, accessories, plants, music, tools, collectables, homeware, and pet food to name just a few.
“We also have our own farmers’ market of 12 blue/white stalls incorporated in to the main market.”
