QUAD bikes being ridden illegally in a Salisbury street were seized by police.
Over the weekend of July 18 and 19, officers responded to reports of three young people riding quad bikes in the Southampton Road area.
They soon located two young males riding quad bikes, while a third rider made off.
“Both quad bikes that were recovered were seized under Section 165 of the Road Traffic Act 1988, which gives police powers to require drivers to produce the appropriate licence, insurance and other relevant documents,” a Wiltshire Police spokesperson said.
“Enquiries established that neither quad bike was road legal and both are now due to be crushed.”
