THE BRAVE members of the Armed Forces, past and present, who have dedicated their lives to the service of our country will be celebrated in Salisbury this June.

Salisbury City Council’s annual Armed Forces Day event is returning to the Market Place and Guildhall Square from 10am to 4pm on Sunday, June 22.

There will be lots of activities for all the family to enjoy, including free workshops, military displays and army charity stalls, as well as street food and live music throughout the day.

A city council spokesperson said: “Enjoy a day of entertainment while showing your support for the Armed Forces and its community.”

The council is now looking for food and drink vendors, retail and charity stalls, activity or workshop stalls and fair ride operators to be part of this event.

“With many visitors and residents of Salisbury attending every year, it is a great opportunity to showcase your business in the centre of the city,” a spokesperson added.
