Fine for Ringwood man accused of speeding in Rolls Royce

A RINGWOOD man has been fined after failing to give the identity of a driver accused of speeding in a Rolls Royce.

Matthew Morris James, of Avon Castle Drive, Ringwood, was the subject of a hearing at Poole Magistrates’ Court on August 1.

James, 57, pleaded guilty to the charge dated July 29, 2022, although he was not in court.

Magistrates fined him £720, as well as ordering him to pay a victim surcharge of £288 and costs of £85. He also received six points on his driving licence.
