Man fined £960 for using mobile behind the wheel in Salisbury

A MAN was fined £960 after being found guilty of driving while on his mobile phone in Salisbury.

Sebastian Anthony William Parsons, of Curzon Street, Calne, was found guilty of driving while using a hand-held phone when he appeared before magistrates in Salisbury on Wednesday (February 19).

The 38-year-old was convicted of using a phone while driving in Castle Street, Salisbury, on September 26, 2023.

As well as being fined £960, Parsons was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £384, and £650 costs.
