Village pub near Salisbury gets a summer makeover

A VILLAGE pub near Salisbury is gearing up for the summer after completing an ‘exciting’ makeover.

Keith and Sue Smith, who run The Fox and Goose in Coombe Bisset, have set out to defy challenging trading conditions by investing in their pub and giving it an in-depth freshen up.

They promise visitors homecooked food with daily specials, a range of local and national ales and a choice of wines from around the world.

“A warm friendly atmosphere awaits all who enter – even well-behaved dogs get spoilt,” they said.

Keith added: “We are proud of what we have achieved at The pub and look forward to welcoming customers, old and new.”

While The Fox & Goose has been around for many years, Keith said the recent transformation meant it is ready to provide a modern take on the classic country pub experience.

“Whether you’re looking for some delicious food or just fancy enjoying a drink with friends outside in their outdoor area, The Fox & Goose has something for everyone,” he said.
