A DRUNK man found asleep in a garden with a child next to him in a pram has appeared in court.
Police found Marvyn Moreman, of Short Street, Ludgershall, intoxicated and asleep in a garden in Durrington on September 11.
When officers were able to wake him, he was arrested. It was also later established the 29-year-old had stolen alcohol from a nearby Tesco – which was found in the pram.
While being taken to custody, Moreman vomited in the prisoner cage and then exposed himself before intentionally urinating in the van.
He admitted being drunk in charge of a child in a public place, shoplifting and criminal damage when he appeared at Salisbury Magistrates’ Court on October 20.
On Friday (November 17) he was sentenced to rehabilitation activities, a 120-day Alcohol Abstinence Requirement, as well as being ordered to pay £85 costs and a £114 victim surcharge.
